The Right Finish For The Right Look

To Finish Or Not To Finish

At American TV Lift we offer a wide range of finishes and color options for your TV Lift cabinet giving you the freedom of choice, because isn't that what America is all about, freedom, and really awesome movies. Since your TV manufacture doesn't even try to offer you all these finish and color options for your TV, with a TV Lift designed and looking the the way you want, you can finally hide that big, ugly black box when you're not watching your favorite movies.

Below you can see some examples of what we can do, and don't worry, this isn't all we can do. The look of your TV Lift is entirely up to you and if the color or finish you want isn't listed, then we'll work with you to find the perfect look, your imagination is our limit.

We also offer a sample service, basically we mail you a sample of the wood and color you ordered before we even apply the finish. This allows you to hold a small piece of your future TV lift in your lighting, against your walls, and next to your other furniture and gives you the opportunity to tweak the look if it's not right and sign off on exactly the right look. We can even mail you samples before you place your order for a $20 fee per sample, and once you've purchased your TV Lift we'll refund any money you spent on samples.

To Distress Or Not To Distress

Cabinet distressing is a technique that ages the look of a cabinet by many years. Our finish team employs various methods to take what would look brand new and make that actual brand new cabinet look like it's been a part of your home for many generations. This process is not easy when done right and does add significantly to the final cost and overall lead time, but the results are amazing if you're wanting a distressed looking cabinet.

There are many different ways to distress a cabinet so if you're interested in distressing your new TV lift cabinet select the "Add Distressing To My Cabinet" option. An American TV Lift design representative will contact you and discuss what kind of distressing you're hoping to see on your new TV lift, that way you're getting exactly what you want. A final cost will be determined after your expectations have been discussed and evaluated by our finish team.
